Transparent, Merit-Based and As per Government / University Rules

Admissions to all programmes at Shardabai Pawar Arts, Commerce & Science College are carried out strictly according to the rules and regulations of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and the Government of Maharashtra. Reservation policy, fee structure and verification of documents are implemented as per prevailing government norms.

Step 1: Registration

Obtain the college prospectus / brochure and fill the online / offline application form within the notified dates.

Step 2: Merit List

Merit lists are prepared based on marks in the qualifying examination and, where applicable, entrance test scores.

Step 3: Verification

Shortlisted students must report to the college with original documents for verification and confirmation.

Step 4: Confirmation

Admission is confirmed only after payment of fees within the stipulated time and issue of fee receipt.

Undergraduate Programmes | Admission Process

Admissions to B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.Sc. (Home Science), B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.B.A. (Computer Applications) and B.Voc. programmes are based on merit and eligibility in the qualifying examination, following SPPU and Government norms.

Issue of Admission Notice: Details of programmes, intake, eligibility, important dates and fee structure are displayed on the notice board and college website.
Online / Offline Application: Candidates fill the college admission form (and university pre-admission form if applicable) for the desired programme.
Merit List Display: Merit lists are prepared department-wise, taking into account category-wise reservations and quota rules.
Counselling & Subject Selection: Shortlisted students are called for counselling, subject combination selection and guidance regarding programme structure.
Document Verification: Original documents are verified by the admission committee. Photocopies are retained by the college.
Fee Payment & Confirmation: Students pay the prescribed fees at the college office / bank and obtain a receipt. Admission is then treated as confirmed.

Note: For B.B.A. (Computer Applications), MAH BBA-CA/BCA CET score is compulsory as per the latest guidelines.

Postgraduate Programmes | Admission Process

Admissions to M.Com. (Banking & Finance), M.A. (Psychology) and M.Sc. programmes in Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Botany, Physics, and M.C.S are carried out as per SPPU norms for postgraduate admissions.

Candidates must have passed the relevant bachelor|s degree as specified under the Eligibility Criteria.
Where applicable, university-level entrance tests / departmental criteria are followed.
Merit lists are prepared by considering aggregate marks (and entrance test scores if required).
Admission is confirmed only after document verification and payment of full / first instalment of fees.

Important Instructions for Applicants

All admissions are provisional until approved by Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Providing false information or forged documents will lead to cancellation of admission at any stage.
Students must preserve fee receipts, admission forms and acknowledgement copies carefully.
Change of subject / faculty is permitted only within the time limit notified by the college / university.
All admitted students must abide by the Code of Conduct and anti-ragging regulations of the institution.
