Transparent, Fair & Student-Centric Grievance Mechanism

The Grievance Redressal Committee of Shardabai Pawar Arts, Commerce & Science College provides a structured, impartial and time-bound system for resolving grievances of students and staff. The committee ensures transparency, fairness and mutual respect by examining complaints related to academic, administrative and infrastructural matters, and recommending appropriate corrective measures to the college authorities.

All complaints received from students and employees are handled with sensitivity, confidentiality and without fear of discrimination or victimisation. Individuals are encouraged to submit their concerns in writing so that they may be addressed effectively and efficiently.

Objectives of the Committee

  • To provide a platform for students and staff to express grievances and seek fair resolution.
  • To ensure prompt, transparent and student-friendly handling of grievances.
  • To build trust between stakeholders and the institution.
  • To uphold dignity and prevent harassment, unfair practices or injustice.

Scope of Grievances

  • Issues related to teaching-learning, examinations and evaluation.
  • Infrastructure, library, laboratory and facility-related concerns.
  • Administrative issues, fees, scholarships and services.
  • Any matter affecting the academic or personal welfare of students or staff (except cases under ICC or Anti-Ragging Committee).

Grievance Redressal Committee – Composition

The committee consists of faculty, non-teaching staff and student representatives to ensure fair, unbiased and systematic redressal of grievances.
